KRAVINGS: Parabellum Accessories…fit for a MAN!

08 Nov

Accessories…for men.  The phrase itself seems oxymoronic. We tend to think of women’s fashion when we think of accessorizing but it truly is a necessity for the well dressed gent.

Recently while perusing HighSnobiety, I came across a post featuring a simple yet stylish laptop portfolio from a company called “Parabellum”. Curiosity piqued, I went to the company’s website. Parabellum Collection has created a line of high quality, masterfully crafted accessories for men utilizing high-grade ceramics, Kevlar and reservation bred American Bison.  The bison lives organically on the reservation ranches and are allowed to wander free and live as they would in the wild. After their 10-20 year lifetime, the hides are selected and sent to a micro-tannery where, using age-old techniques, the leather is can obtain the luxurious and elegant texture and quality.

Here are some of the exquisite items the company offers:

Laptop Portfolio, Parabellum Collection

iPad Case, Parabellum Collection

Dress Belt, Parabellum Collection

10 Card Wallet, Parabellum Collection

Tie Bar, Parabellum Collection

Comms Case, Parabellum Collection

Cuff Links, Parabellum Collection

Whats most interesting to me is the inscription on the cufflinks. Its is derived from the Latin saying si vis pacem, para bellum, meaning If you wish for peace, prepare for war. Very fitting for accessories designed for men.

To get the goods, visit the Parabellum website.

This stuff looks boring and totally over priced.
